I am a Polish national, living in Spain, holding a license to practise as a Sworn Translator of Polish and Spanish, granted by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

Since 2011 I have been collaborating permanently with the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Malaga managing all multilingual communication of the office. Translation services for the consulate include translation of official documents and prevailing legal and business matters. Furthermore, consular work involves a lot of community interpreting covering all the modalities from simultaneous to telephone interpreting. These kinds of tasks, due to their delicate nature, require a great deal of empathy, cultural sensitiveness, and instant response ability. In addition to this, I have been providing translation and interpreting services to companies and private customers since 2010, gaining experience mainly in translating business, technical and legal documents.

My real passion has always been interpreting. I have specialised in conference interpreting in Polish, Spanish and English during postgraduate studies for conference interpreters at the UNESCO Chair for Intercultural Communication at The Jagiellonian University in Cracow. My genuine interest for cross-cultural issues, university degree in ethnolinguistic from the University of Adam Mickiewicz and Poznan guarantee the success of my liaison interpreting performance, in which the intercultural competences play an essential role.

I also have a keen interest in academic research into Interpreting, and I am currently developing my PHD thesis at the University of Málaga, regularly attending congresses on the subject and following the latest trends in the linguistic industry.
