Hello!

I am looking for someone with first-hand experience with SDL Multiterm Extract to tell me about their experience with the software.

As SDL does not provide a trial version for this software, I would like your opinion on its effectiveness, particularly with the language pair Portuguese-English.

My main question refers to its ability to separate terms from pronouns, articles, verbs, among others.

Hello!

I am looking for someone with first-hand experience with SDL Multiterm Extract to tell me about their experience with the software.

As SDL does not provide a trial version for this software, I would like your opinion on its effectiveness, particularly with the language pair Portuguese-English.

My main question refers to its ability to separate terms from pronouns, articles, verbs, among others.

It would not be very effective if the software gave me 1000 terms, 800 of which are "the, he, she,..."

If anyone has links of videos or articles of people who actually used the software, I would also appreciate it. I only found a couple of videos on Multiterm Extract on YouTube, one in German and one in Russian, so it was not very helpful.

I appreciate any help you can give me!

I would suggest having a look at SynchroTerm (by Terminotix) instead. I never got very good results with SDL Multiterm Extract.

I think I've tried Terminotix before, but for one of the languages in my language pair (Portuguese), it gives out a lot of false positives, like verbs, adverbs, pronoums.

I might try it out again!
