I Have been studying Chinese since high school, In my senior year I had the opportunity to live in Anshan, China, Liaoning Province for one year, and was fully immersed. Afterwards I took a job with the government as a translator English-Chinese, Chinese-English, and attended the Defense Language Institute at DLI. I obtained a 3 plus 3 on my DLPT and have since been testing around that area, and trying to improve. While working as a translator for the government I was able to attend the University of Hawaii and complete my BA in Chinese. Currently I am applying to law school, and hope to specialize in international law, and hope to use my chinese in that area, as well as many other areas. I enjoy chinese and I enjoy translating in all types of fields. Once a job is presented to me I treat it with the utmost attention and do my best to do quality and timely work.
