Experience
Years of experience: 32. Registered at ProZ.com: Feb 2013.
I am a US trained attorney with experience in the litigation department of New York City commercial law firm, and in a small civil rights practice in Texas. I taught law for 17 years at the law faculty of Maastricht University and at University College Maastricht, a small liberal arts college within the larger university. I have researched and published in the field of human rights, both in Dutch and in English. My translation experience includes translation of legal contracts and agreements, legal reports and scholarly articles, as well as scholarly articles in the fields of sociology and art. I have recently done website and communications translation for two international art campaigns in the Netherlands, with great pleasure! I have a broad background in the social sciences, am precise and analytical and interested in many things.
