Translation - English Aging has now appeared in the current clinical site population. A minimally invasive treatment is required for reducing the burden of the patient.
In the ranking of the cause of death in Japan, Celebral Vascular disease is second and Cardiovascular disease is third.
These diseases are caused from artery occlusion, and catheterization is used for many cases as an interventional treatment.
A catheter is a polymer tube with the diameter size of several mm. It is inserted into the vessel of the groin or arm (wrist and elbow), and used for monitoring blood pressures of the vascular system, for injecting contrast media for X-ray angiogram and for enlarge a narrowed blood vessel.
However, because human blood vessels are intricately branched, widened and narrowed, the procedure of inserting a catheter needs an experienced and skilled team to be performed. Here is an issue that there are not many hospitals having the skillful team.

Source text - English Single-port laparoscopic surgery (SPLS) has become widespread throughout the world in recent years. SPLS is currently used not only for cholecystectomy and appendectomy but also for colectomy, gastric resection, and gynecological surgery. Such adaptation is expected to increase in future. 1-14 SPLS generally begins with an incision in the umbilicus, with two forceps (or one forceps and a cutting device) and a laparoscope is inserted into the incision and the operation is carried out. The procedure is performed with three instruments through a small incision. 7-14 The cosmetic advantages of SPLS are considerable, as the procedure leaves almost no surgical scar because of the inconspicuous incision in the umbilicus.
