TRANSLATOR/EDITOR
I started volunteering as a translator in 2001 for Amnesty International and especially for Group 271. The projects I worked at were petitions to be sent to authorities and politicians from all over the world, letters, websites and some legal documents. In 2006 I also started working with 86Degrees, a design and hosting company based in London. For them I translated videogames (descriptions and dialogues), as well as international websites. Since I also am a photographer, I had the chance, during the years, to work with many models and designers.
One of my customers in the editorial industry is Delos Books. They own several magazines and in fact I translated interviews to scientists, actors and sci-fi writers for Delos, or for example interviews and articles for Horror Magazine. For Macro Edizioni I translated the meditation and spirituality book Developing spiritual intelligence.
In 2007 I started working for training companies like Mater and Cosvitec as well as the European Community translating legal documents, brochures, projects and developing projects, especially agro-food and sustainability... something that was pretty useful for the EXPO 2015 in Milan!
Today I can say I have a large portfolio of clients, and my biggest satisfaction is that I've been working with the same agencies for years now, because they still trust me and my skills.
Some of my regular customers are Lamborghini, Tommy Hilfiger, ISS, Rotari Club, FriendFeed, Yelp, Quip, Adidas, Puma, Bols, Rocco Forte Hotel and many more.
INTERPRETER
Again I have to mention Amnesty International, as I've often been following them for events working as interpreter. On April 2007 I worked as a conference interpreter for MATER for the transnational meeting TRADE in Poland (Italy, Poland, Slovakia). Again on October 2007 I was responsible for Polish and Slovakian authorities and partners for yet another meeting for TRADE and on December 2007 I have been to Slovakia for the final meeting, where I worked both as a translator and interpreter.
