Joining the Interpreter Pool

Join the Remoto interpreter pool with your approved language pairs: prerequisites, selecting pairs, confirming rates, and appearing in the public directory.

Prerequisites

  • You must have Remoto eligibility with at least one approved language pair
  • You need a complete Remoto profile
  • Ensure your timezone is set correctly
  • Check that your profile status is 'active'

Select Your Language Pairs

  • Click the 'Go online' button on your dashboard
  • A modal will appear showing your approved Remoto language pairs
  • Select which language pairs you want to use for this session
  • You can only select pairs that have been approved by admin
Pro Tip
  • Only approved language pairs will be available for selection

Join the Pool

  • Review your selected language pairs in the modal
  • Click 'Join Pool & Go Online' to submit
  • You'll be added to the interpreter pool and become searchable by organizations
  • Your status will change to online and you'll be available to receive calls

Pool Status Indicators

  • Active: You're in the pool and searchable
  • Inactive: You've left the pool or profile is inactive
  • Online: You're available and receiving call requests
  • Offline: You won't receive call requests

Updating rour available Language Pairs

  • To update your language pairs, go offline then go online again
  • When you go online, you'll see a modal to select which language pairs to use
  • Going offline removes you from search results immediately
  • Going back online adds you to the pool right away with your selected pairs
