I just double-checked with the Brasserie-all credit cards are accepted. As Aurore said, they don't take bank debit cards (if that's the term), but afaik most restaurants don't (except for McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc).
See you soon-and try to avoid the protest march scheduled for downtown Brussels this afternoon ...

If you are taking the metro:
stop is Beaulieu (Delta). when you leave metro station, cross the road (at the traffic lights) to Rue Charles Michiels. (Don't turn left or right). There is a sidewalk on the left-hand side (and parking spaces on the right). Start walking along this street and turn left down Rue Tercoigne (second street on our left). Walk down all the way down the street (fairly steep downhill). Brasserie is at bottom on your left.

I have to let the restaurant know the exact number of people for the buffet by March 15th. Would those of you who said you are coming or may be coming please confirm your reservation (With the green 'Yes') If you don't confirm by the 15th, you won't be included in the buffet. I'm really really sorry... my husband had today a very serious accident on his bike and has a fracture on his right arm, his right eye is like a ping-pong ball and he has stitches in his eyebrow and upper lip. We were planning to go to the meeting, since it was the best ocassion to meet many Prozers... but these things really leave you without speech, and feeling blessed it wasn't worse. Sorry for that... we're two less.

I have booked a room in the NH Grand Place, 15 Rue d'Assaut (Stormstraat 15) 1000 Brussels for 69 through hrs.de. The hotel looks easy to find and there is a metro to Watermael-Boitsfort. I will see where I'll have breakfast the next day (if I feel like having breakfast in the first place...). C u all.

My (local) advice would definitely be for people to stay 'in town' - Boitsfort is very quiet and residential.

X-it, however, is very easy to get to from Beaulieu metro station (Line 1A, direction Hermann-Debroux) comfortably under ten minutes on foot from there.

Alternatively, the yellow 95 (to Heiligenborre) and 96 (to Sainte-Anne) buses leave every ten minutes or so from alongside the Bourse, in the heart of 'downtown', and will deposit you nearby. Get off at place Keym.

Or you can get a taxi; however, seeing as this is Brussels, you'll probably have to tell the driver the way, yet will still end up paying a king's ransom upon arrival...

Alas, I can't offer to put anyone up as we have family over from GB that same weekend.

Well, there are so many things to d and to visit in Brussels that I'm sure you will find soemething, no doubt on that ! It depends of course what you want to do, but Grand'Place, Mannekepis, and the rest are easy to find !
Also don't forget to try the cooking in Belgium, also on Sunday ... Choose a good restaurant and take your time to taste the food ...

I can also offer to put up one person before and/or after the powwow (no car but bus to Brasserie and city centre/rwy stations easy access by bus.)
