Apologies that you're experiencing difficulties, but there must be some setting/configuration on youe end preventing audio playback as the audio is present, and many other attendees have watched/listened to the session.

Are you able to hear youtube videos?

I can not listen to the sessions of this event on any computer. I can see everything and I have enabled Java Script etc., but there is no sound. Why?

Happy Translators Day!

I would like to suggest another software for storing passwords, a true life-saver: KeePass 2. It's a great software that you can handle like a file, which means that you can copy it into your USB stick and bring it with you wherever you go. It can easily store usernames, passwords, URLs, and any other notes, and generate passwords for you. All you need is one password to open it.

I have a suggestion of a program that is very handy for me. It's a corpus maker called AntConc.
It's useful for specialized translations, to gather a lot of texts of a specific topic and see with the glimpse of an eye how one term/sentence has been translated/written before. One example could be recipes: you download 500 of them from the internet (for example) and then you can do a quick search and see how frequent one combination of words is or how frequently one term has been used as opposed to another.
