I bought a pair of magnifying glasses in London while on holiday in 2009, because reading in bed with dimmed lighting had become uncomfortable (long-sightedness, a sign of old age).
I was 41 then, and everything else has been going downhill since.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 13. Later in life I got varifocals, now I even have a different pair only for working on the computer.
For close work such as sewing or reading in bed, I can do without glasses.

I started to wear glasses in College. I could read and work without them for a certain period of time, but I prefer to use them in order to not lose my vision and feel obliged to buy new ones, which are very expensive. Likewise, I also eat colorful vegetables and do exercise outdoor to protect and relax my vision.

I was wearing contacts for 4-5years but than i thought.
Hands and gear must be clean and sterile. Than it takes few minutes to manipulate them in and out. Quite a pain...

So i am back to glasses - easier, faster and more confortable for sure!
