To make any annual financial plan, I would need to know how much I will earn per month, and that is increasingly unknown...

Due to freelancing, it's been years that my translation income has been unstable, so I have gotten used to doing monthly financial planning throughout the year.

Plus, I live in a country that seems to have perpetual economic problems that worsen as the end-of-year approaches every single year, so it's been decades that most of the Argentinian population tries to make ends meet every month or sometimes every fortnight.

I know I should, but there is generally not enough money left over at the end of the year to do much planning with anyway. Or, there is, but I have to hold on to it in case January-April are dead months.

I do basic financial planning. Dec 10, 2025

I try to do it to get an idea how much I have earned each month and during the year. Thus, I could plan to work more, market myself to get some more direct clients, or just look at my progress and utilities.
