French term

organisé leurs relations

French to English Law/Patents Real Estate Mortgage document
"Convention d'indivision: désigne les dispositions convenues à l'article 11. AUTRES OPERATIONS JURIDIQUES, aux termes desquelles les Parties ont organisé leurs relations dans le cadre de la détention et de la gestion indivise des Biens Immobiliers"

Am struggling a bit to express this meaningfully...It's basically saying that the parties have arranged and agreed to hold the property in undivided co-ownership, but I can't find a good way to say this.

Discussion

Charlotte Allen (asker) May 11, 2011:
An additional thought: I eventually went with "Clause 11....in which the Parties have set out the terms of their relationship in connection with the joint ownership....etc" With the thought that the clause in question is giving a legal structure to their relationship, therefore sets out the terms of their relationship. This was suggested to me by a fellow translator.

Not really elegant, but a possibility

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : I think you are along the right lines. We would not extend the English in such circumstances beyond something like "have agreed that/to..."!

arranged their property relationship

The relationship in question is the real property relationship rather than any other relationship between the parties. You could be less literal and say "adopted the property relationship", which would probably be my preference.

This could be about the choice of property relationship between married people. One of the peculiarities of the French system of marriage being that you can opt for various degrees of community or separation of property.
