Comment traduiriez-vous "forcing variable" dans ce contexte ?

"A variable, say financial development, is said to be “weakly exogenous” or “forcing” for output in a long-run sense when the coefficient alpha 2 on the error correction term is not significant in the broad money equation but alpha 1 is significant in the output equation. The direction of the effect can be deduced from the signs of the α coefficients in each system and the β loadings on the forcing variable."
