Does this mean 'something that was of importance to him/something that he saw as important'?
كنتُ أحمل رؤية فينة، تفضيل الجودة على الربح والعدد، بينما كان عمّي ينظر إلى ما أبعد، وهو أمرٌ يُحسب له، كان يرى أن نبيع نوعين من السمك
