We have a small EN>DE segment we need to edit as per our clients urgent request, but our German associate is on vacation and we don't have anyone else in house who could provide us with the correct translation of "discoloration" in German.
Here's the original:
"Serum formulated to help reduce the appearance of Hyperpigmented Age Spots and stubborn DISCOLORATIONS of the skin (including blemishes and freckles)"
Here's the translation we already have, before we were asked to change "colorations" into "discolorations:"
"Als ein Hilfsmittel serum, das die Erscheinungen von
Überpigmentierten Altersflecken und eigensinnigen Hautverfärbungen (Flecken und Sommersprossen miteinbezogen) reduziert"
Could someone kindly indicate where we can replace "colorations" on the German translation above with the German equivalent of "discolorations?"
Thank you so much for your help!

Verfärbung - NOT FOR POINTS
I agree with Erika re. the translation of this word (therefore the points belong to her) but I have to admit that I would alter the translation you have got considerably more than Erika did. The word "Hilfsmittelserum" for example is not really German, it looks rather constructed.
Ein Serum, das entwickelt wurde, um eine vermehrte Pigmentierung und das Auftreten von Altersflecken sowie hartnäckige Hautverfärbungen (einschließlich Flecken und Sommersprossen) einzuschränken.

: So ist es - "stubborn" = "hartnäckig".

Danke Steffen - das "stubborn" ging beim online-Umformulieren unter. Oops - Sorry. :-)
