Now that you're using sales opportunities, it's important to track them along the way. At some point, you'll hopefully win the deal, and need to close the sales opportunity in ACT! to accurately reflect what happened with the sale. Here's how:
1. Lookup the contact in which the opportunity is associated
2. Click in the checkmark column next to the opportunity you are closing
3. Choose a result
4. Enter a reason
5. If necessary, add additional information
6. Click OK
