natural or chemically untreated seasonings
I've had this term before. Basically, it means that the herbs/seasonings have not been treated with pesticides.

: It could be over-interpreting to go as far as saying they are 'organic' — sometimes, e.g. for fruit & veg, it just means 'not treated after harvesting' (i.e. not necessarily organically GROWN)

: Organic is not specified in the source language. It would be safer to go with "untreated seasonings" since organic labels are supposed to be controlled in order to merit the label.

: If they're being used in a risotto, they aren't going to be 'raw', and they might have been 'processed' in some other way (ground, for example); it simply means 'not treated with chemicals' / Who mentioned salt?

Merriam Webster lists "raw" as "being in or nearly in the natural state" I believe that although the salt may be ground , it still in " nearly in its natural state"
