Problem with Save Targe As in TagEditor with a Power Point File

Hi;

I recently needed to convert a file in TagEditor by selecting "Save Target As". The file was originally a MS Office Power Point file.

While I was converting, at the end of the conversion stage, TagEditor was crashed and closed. But I found a file which I named at the beginning of the stage. And I saw that the file was converted up to a specific page.

The PPT was 210 pages and the file was converted as translated up to the page 25.

I thought there is a problem with page 25. So I undo translation in page 25.

Then the "Save Target As" was OK, and I have successfully get the target file.

The thing I want to ask here is, what if I couldn't get the target file, than how could I convert the bilingual TagEditor file to a clean Power Point file (an also Excel file as well) manually.

You have to put original source files in the same directory, not ttx but pps

It was in the same directory.

I want to learn a way to get a target (cleaned) file without using "Save Target As".

This method as can be corresponded as cleaning Word files without using Trados Translator's Workbench's Clean method.

I might not be able to solve this problem, and I could have needed to clean a TagEditor file manually.
