I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds, UK, a BA (Hons) in French and German, also from the University of Leeds, and a PGCE with French specialism from the University of Reading.

I have worked as a full-time in-house Senior Translator, working for a company specialising in financial translation. As well as gaining in-depth experience of translating annual and interim financial reports, credit reports and general financial documents, I also had the chance to work in a wide range of other fields, including legal, medical, ICT and general translation. The position also involved travel to Frankfurt and Berlin to receive training from highly experienced translators. I now work as a freelance translator.

I am a member of Yorkshire Translators and Interpreters.

My hobbies include cinema, reading, kickboxing and travel.
