Source text - Portuguese O Barco-Robô é um protótipo para monitoramento de ambientes lacustres (lagos, reservatórios, etc.).
Sua função é realizar medição da temperatura da água e coleta de água, sendo controlado manualmente remotamente por um aplicativo hospedado em um computador que além de permitir o gerenciamento dos sistemas do Barco-Robô também armazena os dados das sessões de monitoramento em um banco de dados possibilitando futuras análises dos dados das sessões de monitoramento realizadas.
Todo o projeto foi desenvolvido como tema do Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso dos alunos do 9º e 10º periodo dos cursos de Engenharia de Controle e Automação (Mecatrônica) e Engenharia de Computação da Universidade Paulista do campus Flamboyant - Goiânia.
Os testes foram realizados no dia 22 de dezembro de 2009 no lago do Parque Botafogo no Setor Central, Goiânia, Goiás.
