I am CUONG, a
Vietnamese living in Ho Chi Minh City. I was graduated from Banking University
HCMC, major in Business English in 2011. After that, I worked in translation
industry as follows: 

 *June 2011- January 2012: I worked for KP Engineering And Construction Co., Ltd in
Binh Thanh District, HCMC, Vietnam. Position: English Vietnamese translator cum
General affair staff

                                       Projects:
Translating some documents about tax, contracts and company regulations,
invoices for daily expenses for gas, food, machine, equipment, etc., reports
for daily activities and special events like meeting.

 *March 2012-April 2012: I worked for SmartWorld in District 11, HCMC, Vietnam. Position: English
Vietnamese translator.

                                       Projects:
Translating some textbooks and small dictionaries of primary program. The
completed content will be read and recorded in a pen with specialized design,
which will be used by kids in supporting learning English.

 *May 2012 – August 2020: I worked
for Tn Phat Consulting and Translating Co., Ltd, District 5, HCMC, Vietnam. Position:
English Vietnamese translator.

Translating a lot of documents

+General business: labor/ sales/ rental/ transfer contracts,
payment/ balance-related documents like invoice, bank statements, company's
profile and decisions related to policy or promotion or resignation, annual
report; sales/ authorization certificates, ISO certificates, etc.

+General law: Birth/ marriage certificates, court
decisions related to adoption, parenting, divorce, asset division, violation
charge; police check/ judicial record, etc.

+General education: Academic transcripts, degrees,
school/ college/ university's regulations, school transfer/ admission notice,
except for PhD dissertation or deeply technical fields.

+General medicine: hospitalization/ discharge certificates, prescription,
doctor appointment, common medical surveys/ questionnaires.   

*September
2020 – Mid August 2023:
Freelance translator, translating the above documents on many
professional and social platforms. I was lucky to work with Asian Absolute, CrystalHues, Somya, Ya-hub Translation, Pactera Edge, JSQUAD, EQHO Translation, and some other clients. I used to be an interpreter of Effectiff, freelancer of upwork, fiverr, freelancer. 

*Mid
August 2023 – Mid October 2023: Probational
academic coordinator of EMG Education Company, assisting
English-speaking foreign teachers in schools in Ho Chi Minh Cities:
interpreting the working schedule to teachers, and some lecture
content for primary students.

*Mid
October 2023 – now:
Professional
freelance translator of the above documents. Also freelance
interpreter occationally.
