ABOUT ME

Born in a bilingual region, I grew up speaking Catalan and Spanish natively. I lived and worked in different countries, which enabled me to optimize my language skills and my understanding of the corresponding cultures. I easily adapt to different work methodologies. I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses, which I believe is essential in order to deliver high quality texts.

BACKGROUND

BA in Translation and Interpreting and MA in Medical and Healthcare Translation. I believe lifelong learning is fundamental for all professionals but crucial for a specialised translator/interpreter, therefore I regularly undertake trainings and courses related to my fields of expertise, as well as related to my working languages.

FIELDS OF EXPERTISE

More than 8 years of experience as an in-house and freelance translator/proofreader for European and International organizations, institutions and agencies (legislation, contracts, reports, patents, internal communications, among others).

Specialised
in medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare documents (medical reports, informative documents for patients, reports of general interest, healthcare apps). Extensive experience as a medical interpreter at a hospital, and over the phone and remote interpreting.

Participated as a translator/proofreader/copywriter in several projects related to e-commerce, websites and apps (jewellery and watches, travel and tourism, clothing, healthcare, luxury products).
