anglais vers français: The Way to Laziness Detailed field: Art, artisanat et peinture
Texte source - anglais « [T]he truth of your striving is the way to laziness ». At first glance, this sentence written by Russian painter Kasimir Malevitch in his essay Laziness as the Real Truth of Mankind from 1921 seems contradictory in its terms. We are used to considering laziness as what prevents us from working. It also reveals the critical link existing between work and idleness, two words that are, at first sight, opposites. If we take these questions from an art-making perspective, the boundaries between work and non-work become even more blurred.

Bio
As a Ph.D. student researching French and North-American experimental literature, complexity in and about texts is my passion. I don't make translation a full-time job as I have to juggle between research, teaching, and everything else. But I have been entrusted with some projects of both literary and general nature, and would be delighted to do more.
Currently, I'm doing translations for a bilingual laboratory's website. References on request.
Additional experience in entertainment (subtitling) and business management.
