Bio: Although before becoming product manager, Gábor was Kilgray's head of development, you’d hardly dare to call him a geek. Besides his mother tongue Hungarian he speaks a fluent English, German, Spanish and some Dutch and Chinese as well. He translated many thousands of pages as a freelance translator and he also wrote a machine translation engine for MorphoLogic. He’s got a lot of experience with language technology - not only the statistical technology language-independent translation tools are using but also rule-based language specific technologies -, and his mantra is software ergonomics. He oversees the entire software design at Kilgray, and he carefully examines every specification to make sure that the product philosophy is followed.
I am only the webinar will be directed at a non-technical audience, I am a translator and not an IT expert. I have noticed most of Kilgray's Webinars are far too technical and I usually end up quitting half way, feeling frustrating from feeling lost and understanding half of what is said. I know how smart I am, but I simply have no interest in IT, like I said I am a translator, with a translator mind...

SDL Trados

I have a regular client who uses Trados, but I much prefer memoQ. I would like to learn how to import an SDL package and export it so that they can open it again without encountering any problems.

Is MemoQ compatible with Deja Vu X2 as well? I don't work with Trados. Is this webinar interesting for me?
