Posted here in the English forum, 'cos there’s no forum for Jèrriais – and in any case, UNESCO’s "International Mother Language Day (IMLD)" is a world-wide event not specifically related to the mother tongue of some folk in Jersey (Channel Islands).

À seule fîn d’fêter la Journée Întèrnâtionnale des Langues Matèrnelles d’l’UNESCO l’21 d’Févri, j’vos învitons d’aver du fanne auve chutte nouvelle calenge!

La Journée des Langues Matèrnelles fut êtablyie à seule fîn d’haûchi et fêter la divèrsité lîndgistique et tchultuthelle lé tou du monde, en s’en d’mentant en partitchulyi des langues d’ichîn, minnoritaithes, d’héthitage et m’nichies.

Vot’ calenge: V’nez nos r’jouaindre et prannez part en griyant un mème originna dans vot’ langue matèrnelle, cliutez-y eune hache, et chârez auve d’aut’s partout l’monde.
