Right now! Jan 11, 2012

In my experience, my best translations are those I do now. And this applied 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and 17 years ago when I started translating. I hope I keep thinking this way as I grow older!

Translation is a constant learning process Jan 11, 2012

If you are a conscientious and interested translator, the more you do it the better you do it. You constantly learn more about your source languages, the process of translation and the subjects that you translate. It stands to reason that you get better at it. I know I do it better than I used to and I have always done it to the best of my ability. I think this is what makes it such an interesting profession.
