trados sdl trial version Aug 30, 2013

Hello,
I have a question to this webinar. As I am currently deciding on a CAT tool I would like to attend to see if Trados that I already used long ago in an old version will do for me. So therefore my question if it is possible to attend when using only the trial version that is possible to download on the sdl website.

Hello Katinka,

Thank you for your interest in the training.

As it has been confirmed with the trainer, any 2011 version will do for the webinar (professional, freelance, trial). On the webinar Hajnalka will give an overview, what one can do with today's CAT tools. If you decide not to use SDL 2011 after the training, but another CAT, the webinar will still be a good basis to know, what to search for in the other CAT tools' interface.

Please feel free to share your ideas on what should be discussed on the webinar here in the forum or email them to [email protected], and they will be discussed on the webinar accordingly. Thanks!

Hi dearest SDL-ers,

I hope, ALL OF YOU have used Trados 2011 at least once during the past week. This was the original goal. Let you use the software.

I wanted to set up a forum for our small group of newbie-SDL-ers to let you ask me any questions, you want - really ANY - but as Helen (our proz supporter) just confirmed, there is a bug in the forum code of proz, so it won't be immediately available for us.
