I understand the term but can't come up with what this might be in succinct English nor know whether 'nullity', 'vacate' or 'set aside' is more appropriate in the Canadian context.

English translation:Motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction
Explanation:
"006 - Motions to dismiss, affirm, or reverse
(1)Motions to dismiss.
a.Contents and time for filing. An appellee may file a motion to dismiss an appeal based upon the appellant's failure to comply with an appellate filing deadline established by an appellate rule or court order, the appellant's filing of a document that fails to substantially comply with the appellate rules or a court order, or an allegation that the appropriate appellate court lacks jurisdiction or authority to address the case. The motion shall state with particularity the grounds justifying dismissal and, if applicable, shall specify the prejudice to the appellee's interests. The motion shall comply with the requirements of rule 6.1002(1). A motion to dismiss should be filed within a reasonable time after the grounds supporting the motion become apparent. Except for instances in which the court allegedly lacks jurisdiction or authority over the case, the motion to dismiss should be used sparingly. A motion to dismiss will usually be granted only if the alleged infractions are repeated or significant and have resulted in prejudice to another party or the administration of justice.

CanE: Writ of Certiorari for Jurisdictional Error

Explanation:
The second of the asker's suggestions would be closer to my idea of including the word judgment for England + Wales consumption:

*An interlocutory application/ AmE: motion / to set aside judgment on a plea of jurisdictional error.*

Incidente: a collateral issue or ancillary proceedings, West.

A related concept is a jurisdictional plea or plea to the jurisdiction - routinely entered pre- and not post-judgment - and that implies that the court had no jurisdiction or the jurisdiction had been challenged ex post facto.

Example sentence(s):
  • Can. Indeed, whatever may have been the position initially, even legislatures have both impliedly and explicitly acknowledged the role of the courts in relation to jurisdictional error.
  • CanE: Certiorari is often used when tribunals have acted without jurisdiction, or have make a jurisdictional error. This remedy is not used for preliminary decisions, but for *final decisions*.

an adjournment by another jurisdiction

Explanation:
It's a case in which a legal incident was either postponed, adjourned, suspended, deferred or closed by another judicial authority which is entitled to impose a law.
"The level of appeal was submitted to the Superior Authority with the noted contents on file regarding an adjournment by another jurisdiction, petitioned by the claimant throughout the regular proceedings of (X) against (Y), following the intervention against the decision."

EN: "The appeal is an ordinary and upright resource by which both parties request a second hearing (or a second instance Tribunal), a new examination and a new ruling dictated by a judge in the first instance, in the hope of modifying or revoking it."
"In the second instance (or by a second hearing), an appeal which shows disagreement with a decision can take place only once the initial Tribunal or hearing has already been closed or adjourned, finished or used up as an appeal resource."

disagree  AllegroTrans: You have completely misundersood the term and tried to translate word by word, school fashion; it DOES NOT work!!!!; "The appeal is an ordinary and upright resource....finished or used up as an appeal resource" - this is simply nonsense
