I grew up near Frankfurt, Germany and received a PhD from the University of Darmstadt in plant pathology. After working for two years as a postdoc in Oregon, USA I got married to and moved to the US permanentely. Shortly after I quit working to stay home with my child. I have since then taught some undergraduate level biology classes (general biology, microbilology lab, genetics lab, virology) at our local university and have recently started translation as a freelancer. During the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky I worked as an interpreter for their Language Services assisting the german-speaking athletes. I am also a Master Gardener 'graduated' from the University of Idaho Extension office.
My interrests are in science, gardening, horses and good cooking :)
My work ethic is very high and I always meet the required deadlines. |
