FIELDS OF EXPERTISE

I focus mainly on fashion and e-commerce industries for
which I do most of my daily translation/revision work. Apart from those I enjoy
translating (or rather localizing) any marketing, travel, cosmetics, and food-related
materials, websites, software, videogames, board games and kids‘ toys. I'm also very interested in ecology-related topics connected to the areas I've already mentioned - clothing, e-commerce, travel, cosmetics, etc.

MY SERVICES

I offer translation, localization, proofreading, transcreation, and subtitling. I generally enjoy creative work and writing rather than translating word-for-word.

MY CREDENTIALS

I have a bachelor’s degree in English language and
literature from Masaryk University which I obtained in January 2016. My education did not stop there however as I also enjoy educating myself on pretty much anything I find interesting. For this reason I continuously undergo different courses which help me understand new areas and develop my skills further (or build new ones) and take advantage of any opportunities I have to put my gained knowledge to a test.

I started cooperating with translation agencies during my
studies and transferred into full-time freelance translation in January 2016.

WHAT I WORK ON THE MOST:

I spend most of my time translating product names, descriptions, and marketing materials for e-commerce (mainly fashion/furniture), which includes localizing newsletters,
parts of websites, and new marketing campaigns. Apart from that I also review and proofread my
colleagues' work on daily basis.
