We are undertaking a massive expansion for a large-scale, ongoing interpreting project hosted on an online platform. We are actively looking to onboard as many qualified bilingual interpreters as possible to handle a steady flow of consecutive interpretation calls. While the platform supports multiple languages, we are currently prioritizing the urgent onboarding of Khmer, Korean, Japanese, Lingala, Nepali, Rohingya, Swahili, Turkish, Uzbek and Vietnamese speakers. This system routes interpretation calls that require translation between specific language pairs (such as English to Khmer, Korean, Japanese, Lingala, Nepali, Rohingya, Swahili, Turkish, Uzbek and Vietnamese). Project Scope & Nature of Work

Consistent, High-Yield Call Volume: Interpreters can expect a steady baseline of 5 to 10+ calls per day throughout the week to start. Because our queues are highly active, your unpaid waiting time is kept to an absolute minimum. Handling more calls consecutively means your billable minutes accumulate rapidly, naturally scaling up your overall financial return for every shift you work.

Modality (OPI & VRI): The work consists of Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). While the platform supports video, camera usage is entirely optional; you can choose to work via audio or video depending on your preference and comfort.

Flexible Scheduling: Coverage is mapped across three major shift blocks (00:00–09:00, 09:00–18:00, and 18:00–00:00) EDT in 30-minute intervals, allowing you to seamlessly align your availability with peak demand times to capture the most calls possible.

Streamlined Workflow: All work is managed through a dedicated vendor portal. You simply log in, toggle your status to "Available," and let the inbound requests drive your daily productivity.

Workspace & Compliance Requirements

- A reliable computer, standard headset/microphone, and a stable internet connection (a hard-wired connection is highly preferred for stability).

- A quiet, well-lit environment free from distractions (and a neutral, solid background if you choose to use your camera).

- Language Proficiency Assessment: You must provide this document for the specific language pair you are providing services for (e.g., English to Khmer, Korean, Japanese, Lingala, Nepali, Rohingya, Swahili, Turkish, Uzbek and Vietnamese).

- Interpreter Training Certificate(s): You must provide a training certificate that aligns with your specific field of interpretation (Medical, Community, or Legal).
