Pues se queda entre media agua, la que no se hunde es la de goma, que, posteriormente, ya a partir del año 99, se viene utilizando sobre todo en la inmigración que viene aquí, a Almería, procedente de Marruecos, ...

Glad to help. I entered it into the Glassary not because the other answers weren't also good, but so that in the unlikely chance someone is searching the Glossary for a similar term, they will be directed to this question, where they will find several other very nice suggestions and comments. This series of questions was very interesting and fun.

it took on water/it was partially filled with water
The engine of their 1977 Glastron boat quit moments after the couple struck a rock dam Saturday near Latsch Island. The boat quickly began to take on water. But thanks to a nearby man on a personal watercraft, the Shonkas were rescued by the Winona County Dive and Rescue Team, and no one was injured.
The Shonka’s, center, were rescued Saturday afternoon by the Winona County Dive and Rescue team and brought to Dick’s Marine on Latch Island in Winona. They suffered no injured after their 1977 Glastron boat hit a rock and began taking on water. (Fred Schulze/Winona Daily News)
On shore after the rescue, Lisa Shonka recalled how the trouble started.
“We got stuck on another rock dam and took on more water,” she said. “The main problem was that we had no idea where we were.”

: Teju, no soy la más indicada para decirlo, pero me gustó lo de "partially filled with water" porque me parece que es el tipo de lenguaje hablado que usa este texto.

halfway under water
As I rounded the corner, expecting to see the beautiful harbor and the sun shinning on my boat, I stopped in my tracks. The boat I had just named "Surface Interval" was halfway under water.

"Well, it just stays halfway under water"
A tres millas de la costa, el barco quedó a media agua, semihundido, entre cinco y 10 metros de profundidad, aunque permanecía cogido del cable que lo mantenía enganchado.

half filled with water
I'm assuming that it doesn't sink, but the context isn't 100% clear.
A boat could stay afloat if the inside takes on some water, though passengers might have to jump over the side. However, if the boat as such is half-submerged, it won't stay that way very long - it will go down. In that case, the word 'hundido' would apply and the text would be worded differently.
