This term appears at the beginning of a laboratory report, in the section identifying the patient and the service that ordered the tests, when the blood samples were taken, etc. The tests are complete blood count, differential, coagulation and so on.

"SERVICIO: Oncologia - Consulta HC"

From the little I know about the research I'm guessing that the letters HC might possibly be "hemato + _?_" since the study involves venous thromboembolism. But it's just a mildly educated guess.

Your help with this little riddle is appreciated.
