Chinese term

则一律按实际发生时

Chinese to English Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs letter of appointment of foreign entreprise
Hello everybody...

this sentence is leaving me a little puzzled. I have found a translation (when the actual contribution is made) on internet but I would like to have a confirmation and eventually a little explanation:

the context:表中要求以万美元填写的,如与原始币种不同,则一律按实际发生时或合同规定的国家外汇牌价折合成“万美元”

what kind of contribution are we talking about?

Thanks everybody

Hi Fabrizio,

I do not what kind of transactions you need to fill out in the form that you are translating.

It is saying: For all values in the form that are required to be filled out in multiples of 10,000 USD, if they are not originally transacted in USD, they shall be converted into multiples of 10,000 USD based on the foreign exchange rates as announced by the State during the dates when the respective amounts were incurred, or pursuant to the provisions of the contract.

This is more or less what the source text says. You may rephrase it as you deem fit.

It is the exchange rate at the exact time (date) when you made those transactions.

that's what I thought, but on internet you find this kind of translation. and I was wondering why...
that's the translation I have found about this part, check and match:
4、 表中要求以万美元填写的,如与原始币种不同,则一律按实际发生时或合同规定的国家外汇牌价折合成“万美元”。
4. Where the form requires to be filled out in units of US$10,000 and if there is a difference from the original currency, it shall, without exception, be converted into US dollars in units of 10,000 according to the State exchange rates when the actual contribution is made or as stipulated in the contract.

no reference is made to “contribution” The word “contribution” probably came from somewhere else in the text.
