Actually, I'm sure it's both studies in one ("troncos supraaorticos" and "transcranial"). Even though you are right about them being different parts of the body, they are usually ordered together in the workup for CVAs. Any indication of the results? It would help to have more context.

TSA TSA is plural ... troncos supraaórticos. I have it as SAV in my glossary: supraaortic vessels. By extension, I'd guess that TC may be "troncos carotídeos" ... these would be in the same anatomical area, which makes more sense than combining TSA with trans-cranial ... they're different parts of the body.
