Discussion
into the inputs of the actuator, while maintaining a regular steering feel perception by
the driver is achieved without such driver assistance and while being intuitive to driver
intention.
The method comprises integrating the driver intent to intentionally degrade
the target path of the driver assistance function, in order to reduce intrusiveness to
driver effort perception at steering wheel and allow a driver to intentionally adjust or
deviate from original target path.
