Hello everyone,
I stumbled upon the term "generativity" while translating a file about grandparenting and its psychological impact.
Its definition on Merriam Webster is: " a concern for people besides self and family that usually develops during middle age especially : a need to nurture and guide younger people and contribute to the next generation"
The only Arabic translations I found were "إنتاجية" and "توالد", which make no sense to me in the context of psychology in general.
I'm wondering if any of you have any other better expressions?
Thank you

الإفادة/العطاء
Although you didn't offer and context for the term, I think that a generativity person will be شخص معطاء يُقبِل على إفادة الأجيال الأصغر

Discussion
Crucial to psychosocial maturity in these years is to develop a sense of generativity, through concern for, nurture and guidance of the next and future generations. Men and women may develop generativity through their productive efforts in the workforce or voluntary and community activities but, more commonly, it occurs through parenting – not just having children, but assisting and socialising them toward mature, responsible and satisfying adulthood. Grandparents gain a further opportunity to nurture and guide a new generation, and thus a new opportunity for consolidating their sense of generativity.
