Dimensión cultural anglófona

Spanish to English Social Sciences Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc.
Hi all,

I'm studying for the oposiciones to become a secondary school teacher in Spain and, as some of you may know, all we get is a list with the names of the topics (temas) that we have to study, which are provided in Spanish.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no official translation for the titles of the aforementioned topics, and some of them can be somewhat difficult to translate. I'm stuck with tema 66, "Dimensión cultural anglófona en el mundo actual. El inglés británico y el inglés americano. Presencia de la lengua inglesa en España. Anglicismos". Any ideas of how to translate "Dimensión cultural anglófona"? I don't think the board of examiners appreciate "creative" translations, but at the same time I don't want to translate it into something literal that doesn't quite make sense in English.

The school that I'm attending to prepare for the oposiciones do not provide a specific translation of the titles either (even though you're supposed to include the topic's name in the exam), although they do provide you with photocopies of the units where the corresponding topic is developed. If it helps, in the part that's supposed to correspond to "la dimensión cultural anglófona", they talk about the English Language in the world, they briefly mention the origins and history of the English language and of the Commonwealth, and they explore how the cultural dimension of the language can be incorporated into the English classroom.

Thanks in advance

The anglophone cultural dimension

I don't see any reason to avoid a literal, word-for-word translation.

Current impact of English-speaking culture in the world

Alternative, less literal translation for the full sentence, for consideration.

Anglophone culture [in today's world]

I suggest not trying to translate "dimensión." It doesn't add a lot to the meaning.

If you use 'anglophone', you don't need a definite article.

Examples of 'anglophone culture' without the definite article:
