Insulation Compression Failures in Cables
Errors in cables can occur from the most innocent actions, even binding a group of wires too tightly. This type of error is called a compression failure and is caused when insulation narrows from its normal thickness. This happens when physical features or components either in the assembly or in the in the environment of the installed applications contort the insulation to the point that it cannot function correctly.
What causes insulation compression failures?
Insulation on a wire has “plastic characteristics” which under pressure will cold flow (deform due to constant pressure) and reduce the insulation wall thickness. If there is another wire, a metal connector shell, or other metal components close by, the insulation between wires or between a wire and another metal component will likely breakdown with high voltage (hipot) testing. High voltage testing is a good method to predict shorts that may appear later (a latent defect). The “softer” the insulation, the higher the susceptibility to this type of failure. - https://cirris.com/insulation-compression-failures-in-cables...

low-resistance grounding fault
połączeń w tablicach rozdzielczych i puszkach łączeniowych. Starzenie izolacji

. One or two cores of three core cable are grounded. Discontinuities in one or two cores of the three core cable shall be measured with an insulation megger, and then the insulation resistance of one or two cores to the ground shall be telemetered. If the insulation resistance between cores is much lower than the normal value, it is called high resistance grounding fault if the insulation resistance is higher than 1000 Ω; On the contrary, it is a low resistance grounding fault. These two faults are called disconnection and grounding fault.
4. The three-phase core wire is short circuited. The size of grounding resistance during short circuit is the basis for judging the short circuit fault of three-phase core wires of cables. There are two kinds of short circuit faults: low resistance short circuit fault and high resistance short circuit fault. When the three-phase core wire is short circuited, the grounding resistance below 1000 Ω is a low resistance short circuit fault, on the contrary, it is a high resistance short circuit fault.

A short circuit can occur for a variety of reasons, including: A fault with the insulation- if the circuit wire insulation is faulty, the current can then pass to neutral wire, causing a surge in electricity and a short circuit.

Moze w żargonie lokalnych elektryków cos takiego istnieje i ktos próbuje przemycić pojęcia "do szerszego stosowania".
Moze te określenia pochodza z kiepskiego tłumaczenia instrukcji, warto popatrzeć do oryginału moze tam jest wyjaśnienie, niejedną niespodzianke-bzdurę znalazłem w tłumaczeniach."
BTW w kontekście pytania jest: "...w przypadku osłabienia izolacji powstają tzw. "zwarcia tępe". Ten fragment sugeruje, że chodzi o przebicie izolacji (droga iskry: metal - izolacja - metal).
W takiej sytuacji zwarcie ostre to byłoby bezpośrednie zetknięcie metal - metal.

https://www.electricityforum.com/iep/electrical-protection/t...
Według tej strony, w grę wchodzą trzy rodzaje zwarć (por. 2. Short Circuit Faults): phase to phase, three-phase to earth, three-phase clear of earth.
Zwarcie ostre w takim razie miałoby oznaczać zwarcie do gruntu?
