agree Denyce Seow : I have some of my classes in the 语音教室. The students sit at tables with partition, and each of them has a monitor and a headset. It's just a room for their phonetic and listening classes. I'd go for "language lab" in this case.

agree Ozethai : Most commonly heard by me, at least in Australia. They used to call it the "sound lab" at the universities in Thailand.

Audio teaching laboratory

depending on the context, I guess the context meant to refer to rooms with audio equipment designed for teaching/learning purpose, right?then it's an 'Audio teaching laboratory', or perhaps even 'LISTENING LABORATORY'.
