Is it:
A) just a typo?
B) a synonymic variation of "roasted..." by some writers?
C) the result of a process that somehow differs from normal coffee bean roasting?
The context is ground coffee products. Nothing experimental really.

Although googling reveals a site called www.toastedcoffee.com - but they don't offer any explanation, and in fact just say that they offer,"home-roasted coffee made with care".
It may be regional usage, but in any case I don't think there is any technical difference.

As Marian's links suggest, "toasted coffee" seems to be used quite often in wine tasting notes.

: I am not sure what the difference is between this and "roasted". Aging wine in oats sounds like an interesting idea, though!
