English term

database as a verb

English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)
Dear native speakers!
I came across the verb "database" in the following context (translated article):
databased journal -- journal with titles, abstracts, tables of contents, etc. included in a public-access database
Is this usage acceptable in today's English?

"archived" or "archived in a database"

It may be a matter of time but I believe at this point "databased" is not yet an accepted verb. "Archived" still rules!
Example sentence:

The journal is archived in the database.

English term (edited): databased journal

indexed journal

Database technology has greatly improved archiving of documents, especially by allowing multiple indexes to facilitate multiple key searching. It certainly makes one to think of "computerized data base" when hearing "indexed data" nowadays. HTH.
