English term

a highly desired job component

English Art/Literary Linguistics
About half said that it was not possible at all to lose jobs in the next 12 years. Maybe those folks are a tad optimistic, but given that most people feel secure, it's not surprising that the next level of the hierarchy, being part of a team, winds up being a highly desired job component in the American workforce."

I understand the hierarchy means the hierarchy of needs (Maslow). What does it mean by "the next level of ---component"?
