"Пруфридаю" текст, в котором меня очень смутил перевод на англ. полное названия вот этой статьи - особенно его последнего словосочетания.

"oppositions" is commonly used in linguistics indeed, though i believe it has to be singular ("opposition" - more as a category, you know)

i'm not sure if the title is any clearer in English, but this seems to be an adequate translation. i'm almost positive it should be "oppositions" -- it's a pretty common term in linguistics.
