That's what they are called in the US. If it is referring to the roof, it would be Pagoda Style, but that means that the corners of the roof curve upward (to ward away evil spirits).

Larousse says that achinado(a) means "parecido a los chinos" or "parecido a la plebe".
I would suggest 'common' or 'plain', but 'plain tile' seems to be the term for flat tiles, whereas when I think of Chinese roofs, I always see curved tiles.
