I have worked as a freelance translator for translation agencies located in Argentina and the US since 1997. Freelancing has given me the opportunity to gain valuable terminology experience in different translation fields such as economics, law, medicine, science, and technology, as well as task experience in the translation process including translation, review, editing, and proofreading. I am comfortable with computer-assisted translation tools, especially with Deja Vu, which I have been using since 2004. I worked as the in-house Spanish <> English Translator for the Business Administration Department at Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina S.A. from 2000 to 2002. At Lockheed, I provided translation services for the accounting, audits, legal affairs, and finance and budget offices. In the summer of 2003, I was accepted at the Inter American Development Bank for the 2003 Summer Internship Program to work as a translator for the Secretariat/Translations Office. I currently work for the Inter-American Investment Corporation as a translations associate.
