Chinese to English Tech/Engineering Furniture / Household Appliances
This is a description of some sort of a support for kitchen cabinets (perhaps for supporting cabinet drawers?), but I haven't been able to figure out what exactly it is.

Thanks to both of you for the comments. I've searched quite a bit as well and haven't found anything that the two of you haven't, and so I'm going to simply write 'drawer support' (fairly safe since we know this is some kind of support), and then include a note on this to the client.

Google stats Sure, I wouldn't bet on it. But worth looking at this Gsearch:
There are 3 hits, and they're all rubbish.
30 hits, but they all seem to be rubbish. I.e. this term doesn't exist outside of that context. So I see no evidence that it's a single term.
Has 13,000 hits, so the term 屉条 apparently exists.
has a lot of hits, but mostly about computers. I can't make any sense of it in a furniture context.
Mind you, I can't make any sense of "篮条", either, so that doesn't look too good!

It's a mystery!

Can't separate I think David is right on this one, I've found the term used in other similar documents as well, just can't find an explanation as to what exactly it is (although it's not totally impossible that this really was a mistake that has just been copy and pasted into multiple documents) http://www.7cjj.com/news_view.php?nid=361&pid=3 - see 4.4.3
Preston Decker (asker) Dec 5, 2014:
No... The document uses 抽屉滑轨 for 'slide' (or guide/rail), so it doesn't mean slide. However, perhaps this refers to a support for the slide itself?

Not sure, but I think it's two separate things. 屉条 seems to just mean drawers. Not certain about 栏条 yet, but I'm guessing it's another moving part.
If this is the same document, then could it be a misprint for 篮? Drawers and baskets?
Peer comment(s):

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "After thinking more about this, and given the fact that the only mentions I can find of this term online are essentially direct copies of this sentence, I believe Phil's explanation is the more likely one (though David's is quite plausible as well). Undermount Slides

Sorry. I really could not find a picture for 拦屉条。 How about "stopper"?
