Es un texto sobre fachadas y las presiones del viento "sobre la pared interior de fábrica." Pensé que podía ser 'by default' pero no me pega... por otra parte encontré este texto en http://www.construmatica.com/construpedia/Fachadas_de_Fábric...

Las Fachadas de Fábrica para Revestir son los muros exteriores ejecutados con materiales cerámicos que no requieren la calidad de aquellas que van vistas, y en estos casos ya no existe la preocupación por las juntas y la limpieza de los paramentos.

y sigo sin estar segura de cómo traducir 'de fábrica.'

As Cindy says, it is the same as before: "... de fábrica para revestir" means "brickwork to be covered". The bricks being under a layer of mortar, the joints need not be as neat as when they are "al aire".

It's the same as your other question, really--since it says "materiales cerámicos" it refers to brick rather than stone. Have a look at this D.R.A.E. definition for "fábrica":

I happen to know that it means "gemauert" in German but there is no such clear expression (or so it seems) in English. Perhaps this helps a little.
By the way, I´ll have the wine but will do without cheese (as I do not like it).

I really don't know, but here is a description of a prefab wall, which sounds similar to the info in the link you posted:

Prefab walls are often made of sandwich construction: outside corrugated sheets, an inside liner of flat or corrugated sheet, and an enclosed insulation are fastened together by screws to form a thin, effective sandwich wall. These usually have tongue-and-groove vertical edges to permit sealed joints when the units are erected at the building site by being fastened to framing girts.

although prefabricated is also correct, I think preconstructed sounds better. Just an opinion.
