If you want a restaurant to be around for a long time, and at the same time to be productive and profitable, it is necessary to develop a specific strategy with which certain actions will be taken. In any business, including this business, a plan, which has to be followed, needs to be composed. We are talking about the frequently used marketing plan, which is composed of the 4 (four) P-components: Product, Place, Price, Promotion, and to these 4 components, 2 more components are added: Process and Personnel. All six P-components are mutually connected, thus creating a menu that the restaurant cannot function without. It is not easy to compose a menu that the venue will be proud of. It requires extensive research, dedication, investment and hard work, but creating an original menu is rewarding, because the results of all the hard work will pay off in a short period of time. The menu is a key part of the big puzzle, without it the restaurant would not be successful. Before composing the menu, the wishes of the potential guests and the items that they want to see on the menu have to be taken into consideration. On the basis of these criteria, a menu that will satisfy or that will exceed the expectations of the guests has to be created.

За да може еден ресторан да постои подолго време, а воедно да биде продуктивен и доходовен, треба претходно да се развие одредена стратегија со која ќе се дејствува. Како и во секој бизнис, па така и во овој, мора да се направи еден план што ќе се следи. Се работи за често споменуваниот маркетинг-план, кој во основа се состои од четири P-компоненти: Product (производ), Place (локација), Price (цена), Promotion (промоција), а на овие четири компоненти им се придружија уште две: Process (сервис) и Personnel (персонал). Сите шест P-компоненти се меѓусебно поврзани, а сите заедно го составуваат менито без кое еден ресторан не може да функционира. Не е лесно да се направи мени со кое локалот ќе се гордее. Тоа бара испитување, посветеност, вложување и многу труд, но едно оригинално мени вреди да се направи, бидејќи резултатите од напорната работа за кратко време ќе излезат на виделина. Менито е дел од големата сложувалка без кој еден ресторан не би имал успех. Кога тоа мени се составува, треба да се имаат предвид идните гости и што е она што тие би сакале да го видат на менито. Врз основа на овие критериуми ќе треба да се создаде мени што ќе ги задоволи или ќе ги надмине очекувањата на гостите.
