I'm a fully paid-up member of the "native-only" club so I don't believe in translating into multiple target languages (exceptions noted of course before I get lynched).

Apart from the "native" aspect, I consider that it would not be economically sound for me to translate in an other language.
It would cost me way too much time for a very average result in the best case, whereas there are many colleagues who can do it better and quicker (hence more efficiently).
That is why I only accept multilingual projects when I am sure to be able to pay trusted colleagues to collaborate on it.

I'm with TY on this one. Nine times out of ten, I think translation is best done by native-speakers only. There may be exceptions, but I don't know any multilingual translators I'd be confident entrusting jobs to - and few truly bilingual ones.

Obviously working in a team is a different kettle of fish.

as part of a team when I worked as in-house translator: some documents (mostly minutes) were drawn up in several languages. I'm also a member of the native-only club!
PS Oops, I have just realized that I misread the question: I translated some documents drawn up in several languages to my only target language: European Portuguese! Sorry!

I'm also in the "native-only" club even though I don't have a bone through my nose and walk around stark-naked.
I have been asked to "go the other way" or E>J in my case. However, I don't out of principle and the rates are that much lower, too.

Especially after seeing the warning sign recently:
We reserve the right to refund a warning.
This was with regard to acts of vandalism, and was intended to reserve their right to prosecute. If I hadn't been able to read the original I don't think I'd have a clue what was meant.
I suspect attempts by me to translate into any language other than English could produce some equally laughable results so simply won't risk it.

I have referred to two texts in different source languages to craft a text in English on several occasions, though.
Like others, I only do one target language. It is my contribution to world peace.

I translate into Hungarian and into Romanian as well.
And I suppose I do things well enough because two of my six WWA-s come from outsourcers to whom I delivered both En>Hu and En>Ro translations.

GB English and US English - I've done that as well on a couple of occasions when some regular clients have insisted - and one has to be a bit careful because apart from the spelling, subtleties of usage lurk around as well
